Astros Defeat Mariners To Win AL West

The Astros are AL West champions for the fourth straight year. Houston defeated the Seattle Mariners 4-3 at Minute Maid Park. Alex Bregman, Jason Heyward and Kyle Tucker each homered and combined to drive-in all four runs. Framber Valdez earned his 15th win, while Josh Hader notched his 34th save. The Astros snapped a two-game losing streak to improve to 86-and-72. They host the Mariners again this afternoon. Left-hander Yusei Kikuchi will start opposite Seattle righty George Kirby.
