Wyatt Langford hit his 13th homer of the year on a three-run shot in the sixth inning. Kirby Yates earned his seventh win after tossing a scoreless inning of relief. The Rangers have already been eliminated from playoff contention and are third in the AL West at 74-and-82. They travel to play the Oakland Athletics tomorrow night. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi is set to start opposite Oakland righty Mitch Spence. In other news, Max Scherzer has been placed on the 15-day injured list and his season is now over.
