Vice President Kamala Harris's husband plans to spend two days in Texas next week campaigning for Democrats. Doug Emhoff will participate in a get-out-the-vote rally on Monday in San Antonio, joined by Mayor Ron Nirenberg, U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro, and his twin brother, former Mayor Julian Castro. On Tuesday, Emhoff will appear in Austin and Houston. So far the venues haven't been announced. Republicans say they're delighted to see Emhoff wasting his time by campaigning in Texas.
