The EPA has given notice to SpaceX that it must pay a fine of close to $150,000 for breaking clean water laws at its South Texas launch site. The company did not have a proper permit when it constructed a water cooling system under the launch pad. The EPA's fine comes as SpaceX waits for permission to launch its next Starship. The latest flight plans suggest that the environmental impact will include a larger part of South Texas.
