The Astros will be without a member of their outfield for their final push toward an AL West title. Houston is placing Chas McCormick on the 10-day injured list due to a small fracture in his right hand. McCormick suffered the injury when he ran into the right-field wall while chasing down a foul ball in Wednesday's loss to the Oakland Athletics. The 29-year-old is batting .211 with five home runs and 27 RBIs through 94 games played this season. In corresponding moves, the Astros recalled infielder Grae Kessinger and left-hander Bryan King from Triple-A Sugar Land and sent right-hander Nick Hernandez down to the Triple-A club.
