A man is in custody and accused of firing a gunshot inside an HEB on the Northwest Side on Tuesday. Leon Valley police responded around 1 p.m. to the reported shooting at the grocery store on Bandera Road near Loop 410. Investigators say the man fired a shot into the ground near the entrance of the store. Officers arrested him as he walked away toward a nearby road. There were no injuries. Police don't know why the man fired the shot. An HEB spokesperson said the store stayed open after the incident.
