Nathan Eovaldi tossed a gem as the Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox 2-1 at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Rangers' starting pitcher tossed seven scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts to improve to 10-and-7 on the season. Corey Seager blasted a solo home run and Wyatt Langford had an RBI groundout to pace Texas offensively. Kirby Yates got his 25th save of the year. The Rangers have won three in-a-row and sit third in the AL West at 63-and-71. They return home to host the Oakland Athletics tonight. Right-hander Jon Gray is scheduled to start opposite Oakland southpaw JP Sears.
