Dubon, Heyward Propel Astros To Win Over Royals

Jason Heyward and Mauricio Dubon lead the Astros to a 6-3 win over the Kansas City Royals at Minute Maid Park. Heyward had a two-run double in the fifth inning and Dubon had a two-run single in the eighth. Zach Dezenzo walked with the bases loaded in the eighth to give the Astros a lead they did not relinquish. Reliever Ryan Pressly got the win and Josh Hader picked up the save. The Astros have won back-to-back games and sit atop the AL West at 72-and-62. They host the Royals again tonight. Left-hander Framber Valdez is scheduled to start opposite Kansas City righty Seth Lugo.
