Travis Janikowski robbed Andrew Vaughn of a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth as the Rangers beat the White Sox 4-3 in the second game of a doubleheader at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Rangers also won the first game of the doubleheader 3-1. The first game was the completion of Tuesday's suspended game. Corey Seager led the way for the Rangers in both games. He had four hits, two doubles and an RBI in the second game. He had two hits and an RBI in the first game. Wyatt Langford chipped in with a three-run home run in the second game while Marcus Semien and Adolis Garcia chipped in with RBIs in the first game. Reliever Jose Urena got the win in the second game. Reliever Matt Festa picked up the win in the first game. The Rangers are now 62-and-71. They will close out their series against the White Sox this afternoon. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi is scheduled to start the finale.
