The Texans have finalized their initial 53-man roster. Among the team's moves, Houston released wide receiver Noah Brown, quarterback Tim Boyle, offensive linemen Cameron Erving and Charlie Heck, linebacker Jacob Phillips, and defensive backs C.J. Henderson and Desmond King the Second. Linebacker Christian Harris and defensive lineman Kurt Hinish were both placed on injured reserve with a designation to return, while defensive back Brandon Hill and QB Case Keenum were put on season-ending IR. The Texans visit the Indianapolis Colts in their season opener on September 8th.
