The Texans capped off the preseason with a win. Houston defeated the Los Angeles Rams 17-15 on Saturday at NRG Stadium. Tim Boyle completed 19-of-28 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns. He found Troy Hairston for a five-yard TD pass in the second quarter, before connecting with Johnny Johnson the Third on a 10-yard score in the fourth. Ka'imi Fairbairn made his lone field goal attempt. The Texans finish the preseason slate at 3-and-1. They open the regular season on the road against the Indianapolis Colts on September 8th.
