It is officially Mooov-In day for thousands at the University of Texas at Austin. Parents and students are bringing carloads of belongings into residence halls and dorms for what they hope will be a peaceful start to a new semester. Last spring saw the university dealing with a wave of pro-Palestinian protests that led to dozens of arrests. On Sunday, UT President Jay Hartzell will officially welcome the newest members of the Longhorn community at Gone to Texas 2024 on the Main Mall in front of the Tower. The first day of fall classes is Monday.
