San Antonio's proposed new city budget includes increases on fees that would raise nearly $10 million in revenue. The spending plan for the next two-years proposes increased fees for parking at the Alamodome and the Convention Center, Alamodome tickets, notary services, EMS transport, trash pickup, school zone parking violations, passport photos, and other services. Almost half the new revenue would go into the general fund, which pays for basic services like police, fire, libraries, and street upkeep. The rest will be used for dedicated purposes like the airport or solid waste management.
