NFL star Patrick Mahomes is donating millions to his alma mater. Texas Tech will use the new, $5 million gift to revamp the school's athletic facilities. And, as a way to say thanks, they will put Mahomes name on a soon-to-be-completed walkthrough area in the football stadium and plaster his picture around the meeting rooms.
In addition, Mahomes has signed 6 Texas Tech athletes, each from a different sport, to NIL deals. The inaugural class of 'Team Mahomes' NIL athletes will be ambassadors for Mahomes' signature Adidas brand.
