Yainer Diaz Leads Astros Past Red Sox

The Astros extended their winning streak to three games after walking off the Red Sox 5-4 in their series opener at Minute Maid Park. Yainer Diaz drove in the game-winning run after hitting a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth. Josh Hader was credited with the victory after pitching a scoreless top of the ninth. The Astros have won 11 of their last 12 and sit atop the AL West at 68-and-56. They host the Red Sox again tonight. Right-hander Ronel Blanco will start opposite Boston righty Nick Pivetta.
