The Rangers started out their series against the Pirates with a win. Texas defeated Pittsburgh 4-3 at Globe Life Field. Corey Seager was 2-for-3 with two home runs and four RBIs. Marcus Semien finished with a pair of hits and a run scored. Jose Urena earned his fourth win after tossing four scoreless innings of relief, while Kirby Yates recorded his 22nd save of the season. The Rangers have won back-to-back games and sit third in the AL West at 58-and-68. They host the Pirates again tonight. Left-hander Cody Bradford is scheduled to start opposite Pittsburgh righty Mitch Keller.
