Former Texas QB Colt McCoy Announces NFL Retirement

A Longhorn legend is hanging up his shoulder pads. Former Texas quarterback Colt McCoy has announced his retirement from the NFL after a 14-year career. The 37-year-old was a two-time finalist for the Heisman Trophy while at Texas and captained the team to the BCS National Championship game in 2010. He won an NCAA Division I-record 45 games as a four-year starter from 2006-to-2009. McCoy played for the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Commanders, New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals during his NFL career.
