The Rangers started out their series in Boston with a loss in extra innings. Texas fell to the Red Sox 5-4 in a 10-inning contest at Fenway Park. Corey Seager hit his 26th home run of the season on a two-run blast in the seventh inning. Marcus Semien and Josh Smith each drove-in a run in the setback. Gerson Garabito was charged with his first loss and blown save after he allowed two runs in less than an inning of relief. The Rangers have lost five of six and sit third in the AL West at 55-and-64. They visit the Red Sox again tonight. Right-hander Jose Urena will start opposite Boston righty Kutter Crawford.
