Students return to class in the San Antonio ISD today, but not necessarily at the same school they attended last year. District officials say a large number of students will attend a new school after more than a dozen campuses were closed. The schools were shut down as part of the district's rightsizing plan, which aims for more efficient use of district resources. The closed campuses now serve as bus stops for kids attending new schools, including most of the district's pre-K students.
