Ten Arrested, Eight Vehicles Impounded During San Antonio Street Takeovers

Ten people are in custody after the San Antonio police broke up several street takeovers on Saturday night. Police Chief William McManus said Bexar County deputies and Department of Public Safety troopers were also in on the effort. The suspects were arrested for charges including evading arrest in a vehicle, unauthorized use of a vehicle, public intoxication, unlawfully carrying a handgun, and drug possession. Officers also impounded eight vehicles.
