The Texas Rangers dropped their series finale in the Bronx. Texas lost to the New York Yankees 8-7 to cap off a three-game set at Yankee Stadium. Carson Kelly was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and a pair of runs scored in the setback. Nathaniel Lowe hit his 10th homer of the year. Starting pitcher Andrew Heaney was charged with the loss and dropped to 4-and-12 after allowing four runs through four-and-two-thirds innings. The Rangers have lost four of five and sit third in the AL West at 55-and-63. They travel to play the Boston Red Sox tonight. Right-hander Tyler Mahle will start opposite Boston righty Brayan Bello.
