Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be on the Texas ballot in November as an independent candidate for the presidency. The Texas Secretary of State's Office announced on Thursday that RFK had submitted enough petition signatures to be placed on the ballot. Kennedy is the nephew of President John F. Kennedy and the son of Senator Robert Kennedy, both of whom were assassinated. He and his running mate, Nicole Shanahan, delivered their petition signatures to the Texas Capitol in May, followed by a campaign rally in Austin.
