A man is in custody after Bexar County deputies found the remains of his father in a refrigerator. Deputies conducted a welfare check on Thursday at a home on Rustic Trail Drive at the request of relatives who hadn't heard from the elderly man for months. They found the man's remains inside a fridge in the garage. Deputies detained his son, who reportedly had been cashing checks in his father's name. The father's cause of death isn't yet known, and charges against the son haven't yet been stated.
