Three American citizens have arrived in San Antonio after their release from captivity in Russia on Thursday.

Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, former Marine Paul Whelan, and radio journalist Alsu Kurmasheva landed late Thursday night at an air base in Maryland.

The three were greeted by their families, along with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The ex-prisoners and their families then flew to San Antonio, where the three will be medically evaluated at Brooke Army Medical Center.
