San Antonio City Council is expected to vote next week to place longer terms and higher pay for themselves on the November ballot. After Thursday morning's discussion, it's still not clear how to handle the transition from two-year to four-year terms, or how much the pay raises will be. A pay raise for the mayor's office is also under discussion. The salaries for council members and the mayor have been unchanged since 2015.
