The Astros were handed their third straight loss. Houston fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 at Minute Maid Park. Yainer Diaz was 4-for-4 and hit his 10th home run of the season on a solo shot in the fourth inning. Jeremy Pena also drove-in a run in the setback. Starting pitcher Hunter Brown was tagged with the loss and is now 9-and-7 after striking out eight and letting up five runs through five-and-two-thirds innings. The Astros are now 55-and-52. They will host the Pirates again tonight. Left-hander Framber Valdez is slated to start on the mound.
