CenterPoint Energy is promising to do a better job next time a hurricane comes to Houston. The utility issued a public apology on Thursday because of its response to Hurricane Beryl. The Public Utility Commission is investigating CenterPoint's response to the storm, which left more than two-million customers in the dark. Some of them didn't get their power back for more than a week in dangerous heat. CenterPoint executives are required to provide answers to Gov. Greg Abbott by next week.
