Elon Musk is moving the SpaceX and "X" headquarters from California to Texas. He's pointing to a new California law that bans schools from telling parents if their child starts using different pronouns in class. Musk said on X that he warned Governor Gavin Newsom that laws like this would force families and companies to leave California "to protect their children."

Musk said that the X social media company, formerly known as Twitter, will be moving its headquarters from San Francisco to Austin. Earlier he announced he would move SpaceX from California to Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas.
