The Texas Department of Transportation is warning of more weekend traffic headaches on the Northwest Side. TxDOT plans to close Loop 1604 westbound from Lockhill Selma Road to I-10 this weekend, as part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project. The eastbound feeder of Loop 1604 will also be closed at the interchange, along with the eastbound exit ramp to I-10. The closures are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Friday and continue until 5 a.m. Monday. Police will direct traffic in the area.
