OKC Wants To Transfer Funding To Get Riversport Ready For 2028 Olympics

Oklahoma City leaders want to move $3.6 million from the city's MAPS 3 budget to get the Riversport attraction on the Oklahoma River ready for the 2028 Olympics. The money would be used for a feasibility study, a master plan and equipment replacement. Oklahoma City will host the softball, canoe slalom and kayak events. Oklahoma City is already used for whitewater rafting training.
