U.S Rep. Lloyd Doggett is insisting that President Joe Biden should withdraw from the presidential race. The Austin congressman told fellow House Democrats on Tuesday that the party needs to come up with another candidate. Doggett is the first House Democrat to publicly call on Biden to drop out because he's too weak to defeat GOP candidate Donald Trump. Doggett's claim keys on Biden's embarrassing performance in last month's debate against Trump. Biden is scheduled to speak at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin next Monday.
