Houston officials say there are three deaths confirmed in connection with now Tropical Storm Beryl. Earlier today. A 53-year-old man died after a tree came down on his home in the Atascocita area. Another person in the residence was reportedly injured. A 74-year-old woman died when a tree came through the roof of her North Houston home. A man in his 50s died after a house caught fire. First responders saved one man who was stranded on the roof of his truck. Debris and trees are across roads throughout the region and police urge everyone to stay home as the damage to highways is assessed.
