The Astros edged the Blue Jays 5-3 to claim their series from Toronto. Jeremy Pena went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and Jon Singleton drove in a pair of runs. Framber Valdez earned the win after giving up three runs on nine hits over six innings. Josh Hader notched his 14th save of the season as Houston took three-of-four in the series and have won five of their last six games. The team sits second in the AL West at 45-and-42 and will visit the Twins tonight.
