A Texas Congressman is the first Democratic lawmaker to publicly call on President Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Austin issued a statement on Tuesday saying he hopes Biden will make the "difficult decision to withdraw" following Biden's poor debate performance last week. There are discussions among Democrats over whether Biden should drop out of the race against former President Donald Trump, but Biden has vowed to stay in the race.
