The Texas Department of Transportation is warning of more weekend traffic headaches on the Northwest Side. TxDOT plans to close I-10 eastbound and westbound at the Loop 1604 interchange this weekend, as part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project. The eastbound main lanes of Loop 1604 will also be closed at the interchange, and detours will affect the 1604 feeders in both directions. The closures are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. tonight and continue until 5 a.m. Monday. Police will direct traffic through the weekend.
