San Antonio is the future home of a passport agency. The US State Department announced on Tuesday that new agencies are planned for six cities nationwide. Besides San Antonio, the other five are Salt Lake City, Utah; Orlando, Florida; Cincinnati, Ohio; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Kansas City, Missouri. The San Antonio location will mean people who need passport or visa services won't have to drive to Houston or Dallas. The State Department says the six new facilities will grow the agency's network to 35.
