Alberto has now weakened into a tropical depression after making landfall in Mexico as a Tropical Storm. As it moves inland over Mexico, heavy rains and flash flooding are expected to continue in northeast Mexico. The National Hurricane Center says moderate coastal flooding is likely through today's high tide cycle along the Texas coast.
