Southwest ISD plans to provide free school supplies to elementary and middle school students in the upcoming school year. During Wednesday's meeting, the school board voted unanimously to provide the supplies to kids at no cost to parents. The prepackaged kits will be based on teacher supply lists, and will be provided to students registered for the 2024-25 school year. The district will spend $225,000 on the supplies.
