CPS Energy Says It Is Ready For Hot Summer Months Ahead

CPS Energy officials say they are ready for the hot summer months ahead.

The San Antonio utility held a news conference on Thursday to discuss their plans and how they will be ready for peak usage during the summer.

"I want to re-assure the entire community that CPS Energy, from our standpoint, for the assets that we are responsible for, for the systems that we maintain, we have done everything that we need to do to be ready for the hot summer season ahead," said President and CEO of CPS Energy, Rudy Garza."

The company says it will utilize their internal meteorologist to strategize their approach to energy management throughout the summer.
