The Astros dropped their series finale against the Cardinals. Houston lost to St. Louis 4-2 in the final outing of a three-game set at Minute Maid Park. Trey Cabbage and Yainer Diaz both hit solo home runs in the setback. Starting pitcher Ronel Blanco fell to 5-and-2 after allowing four runs through five-and-two-thirds innings. The Astros had a two-game winning streak snapped and now sit third in the AL West at 28-and-35. They travel to play the Los Angeles Angels tomorrow night. Left-hander Framber Valdez is scheduled for the start.
