A convicted cop killer from Texas will be staying on death row. The U.S. Supreme Court denied an appeal from Brandon McCall today. He killed his roommate in 2018 in the Dallas suburb of Richardson. When police arrived, he shot at them with an assault rifle. One of the officers died. His attorneys tried to claim that biased jurors were not struck down during the selection process. Today's denial paves the way for an execution date to be set.
