Biden Administration Official In Uvalde For Anniversary Of School Shooting

Mass Shooting At Elementary School In Uvalde, Texas Leaves At Least 21 Dead

A member of the Biden administration will be present in Uvalde today, the second anniversary of the shooting at Robb Elementary School. After the shooting on March 24th, 2022, President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden visited Uvalde. Last September, Biden created the Office of Gun Violence Prevention, overseen by Vice President Kamala Harris. The office's deputy director Robert Wilcox is expected to join Uvalde residents today at a vigil honoring the 19 students and two teachers killed in the shooting.
