Landowners near the San Antonio Toyota Manufacturing Plant aren't happy with a city zoning proposal for the area. The city's planning department wants to limit commercial and residential development within two-miles of the plant for reasons of safety and health. Property owners sounded off at Tuesday's meeting of the city zoning commission, irritated that the proposed zone would limit what they could do with their land. The city's presentation said the proposal would affect more than 28-hundred properties.
