Ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, the Click It or Ticket campaign is in effect in Texas. Traffic cops statewide will be on the lookout for drivers and passengers who aren't wearing seatbelts. The program went into effect on Monday and continues through June 2nd. State law requires everybody in a moving vehicle to buckle up or face a fine of 200-dollars. Kids under eight years old are required to be in a child car seat or child booster. The fine for violating that law can cost up to 250-dollars.
