Astros Lose To Angels

The Astros dropped their series opener against the Angels. Houston lost to Los Angeles 9-7 at Minute Maid Park. Mauricio Dubon was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs scored. Jose Altuve also homered on a three-run blast in the second inning. Starting pitcher Framber Valdez fell to 3-and-2 after letting up eight runs through five innings. The Astros have lost two of three to slip to 21-and-27. They host the Angels again tonight. Right-hander Cristian Javier will start opposite LA righty Griffin Canning.
