A man is out on bond after his arrest on Saturday for running a cockfighting operation. Acting on a tip, Bexar County deputies raided the cockfighting event at a property on Sand Cliff Drive. They issued citations to 47 spectators and arrested Paul Morales, the suspected organizer, for cockfighting. Deputies also found guns, drugs, and about 200 roosters, some of which were injured. Morales has a court hearing scheduled for June. The rescued roosters were taken to an undisclosed location.
