Astros first baseman José Abreu is on his way to the team's Spring Training facility on West Palm Beach after accepting a minor league option. The team announced the roster change on Tuesday, and it takes effect today. Abreu had a strong finish to the 2023 season, but he's off to a slow start this time around. In 71 at-bats, he has only seven hits, three RBIs, and no homers.
