The Cowboys made a trade to send the 24th overall pick and a 2025 seventh-round selection to the Detroit Lions in exchange for the 29th pick and the 73rd overall pick in the third round. The Texans did not make a selection in the first round. They will pick 42nd overall, while the Cowboys are back on the clock with the 56th pick.
