An investigation is underway after a San Antonio police officer shot and killed a vehicular assault suspect. Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. Saturday to a home on Cheviot Heights, where the man had reportedly run over a 51-year-old woman identified as his roommate. She was hospitalized in critical condition. Shortly after midnight, police caught up with the man and tried to block him into a driveway, but as he squeezed through, he injured two officers. One of them shot the man, who died at the scene. His name hasn't been released.
