The Rangers capped off their series against the Tigers with a win. Texas defeated Detroit 9-7 in the finale of its four-game set at Comerica Park. Marcus Semien was 3-for-6 with a home run, an RBI and a pair of runs scored. Adolis Garcia and Jonah Heim also homered in the team's second straight victory. Jose Leclerc earned the win on the mound, while Kirby Yates recorded his second save. The Rangers won three of four over Detroit to improve to 11-and-9. They will visit the Atlanta Braves tonight. Left-hander Andrew Heaney is scheduled to take the mound opposite Atlanta southpaw Chris Sale.
